Third day without COVID-19 hospital deaths in Lincolnshire

No coronavirus fatalities in Greater Lincolnshire hospitals

Greater Lincolnshire’s hospitals have reported no new coronavirus-related deaths in hospitals for a third day on Wednesday.

So far this month there has been four COVID-19 related deaths in Greater Lincolnshire. The latest death reported on Sunday brought to an end a six-consecutive day run without for the region.

Yesterday, government figures added three new deaths to the region’s tally bringing it to 457 people from the three local authorities who have died, including deaths outside healthcare services and those which took place in other authorities.

Nationally, a further 14 people who tested positive for the Coronavirus have died on Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,317.

Although figures will be further updated later today, Tuesday saw no new confirmed cases in Greater Lincolnshire, currently at 3,452.
