Cyclist seriously injured in Skegness crash

Man in his 60s airlifted to hospital

A male cyclist in his 60s suffered serious injuries that could be life-changing after he was hit by a car in Skegness on Monday morning.

The crash happened at the Clock Tower roundabout in Skegness at 6.20am on August 3 and the man was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

Road closures are in place on Lumley Road and Grand Parade.

Police said it is believed that a number of pedestrians may have been in the area at the time and seen what happened.
