Death of young man in Lincoln village not suspicious

Police released the people initially arrested

The death of a young man in Skellingthorpe is not being treated as suspicious and police have released the three people who were arrested at the home.

Officers discovered the body of the 21-year-old man at a home on Waterloo Lane at 1.25am on Friday, July 31 and a police cordon was put in place.

At the time the death was being treated as unexplained, but on Monday, August 3 police confirmed “this death is not being treated as suspicious.”

Two men aged 27 and 48, and a 54-year-old woman were present at the property when officers attended and were all arrested, but they have since been released with no further action.
