Lincolnshire man stars in new Channel 4 fashion documentary

Behind the scenes of a fashion brand

A Cleethorpes man will star in a new four-part Channel 4 series looking behind the scenes at fashion brand Missguided.

The first episode of ‘Inside Missguided: Made in Manchester’ will air at 10pm on Wednesday, August 12 and will follow the company owned by Nitin Passi, which had a turnover of over £200 million a year before losing £26 million in 2017/18.

Missguided is a multi-channel retailer selling clothes aimed at 16 to 35-year-old women. It is now trying to bring the business back to glory and 40-year-old Glenn Grayson from Cleethorpes has worked at Missguided for over three years.

Glenn Grayson is part of the team at Missguided, which will feature in a four-part Channel 4 series.

A typical week for Internal Communications and Engagement Partner Glenn could include writing company comms, hosting bingo, designing training sessions, leading colleague listening groups, editing a video or even pushing the ‘treat trolley’.

When asked how he found being on camera, Glenn said: “At first it was a little nerve-racking but after a few hours I totally forgot they were filming. This also meant I forgot to turn the microphone off whilst going to the toilet, nice!”

The Channel 4 show will go behind the scenes at fashion brand Missguided.

He added: “The variety of roles keeps me motivated and actually seeing something you’ve worked on and been planning actually come to life gives me a real buzz.”

The show will mainly focus on a group of female employees from designers to campaign managers, giving viewers an insight into life at the fast-paced fashion business.

Episode one will see Missguided launch a new campaign with a ‘superstar influencer’.
