Woman arrested after serious crash in Lincolnshire village

A man was taken to hospital

A woman was arrested and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A158 Langton by Wragby on Sunday morning.

Lincolnshire Police were called just after 5am to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a dark blue Vauxhall Meriva, which was travelling towards Skegness and came off the road.

A 31-year-old man from South Yorkshire who was travelling in the car was seriously injured in the crash and taken to hospital for treatment.

A 44-year-old woman from South Yorkshire was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the car before the collision, as well as anyone with dashcam footage of the vehicle.
