Police seek victim after ‘hit and run’

Van mounted kerb in Boston

Police are looking for the victim of an alleged hit and run in Boston after a white van mounted the kerb collided with a pedestrian.

The incident happened at the junction of Liquorpond Street and George Street in Boston at around 4pm on August 28 when the van mounted the kerb just past the yellow hash marked box.

Lincolnshire Police said the driver failed to stop at the scene of the collision.

The force released a picture on September 14 of a man they believe may be the victim.

Police said: “This picture, of the man we believe may be he victim, has been captured by a member of the public’s dashcam.

“We would like to emphasise the man is not a potential suspect.”

Anyone who recognises the potential victim should contact police on 101 or via email at [email protected] quoting reference 20000450427.
