Woman stabbed by teen cyclists

Spalding driver attacked by youths

A woman was allegedly stabbed in the arm by something similar to a screwdriver as a group of four teenage males cycled past her in Spalding on Saturday.

The woman was in a white Mazda near the level crossing at the junction with Thomas Street and had her arm out the window during the afternoon of Saturday, September 12.

There was one car in front of her vehicle and, when the barrier began to lift, the group of teens cycled past with one stabbing her in the arm.

She received the stab injury while in traffic on Winsover Road at around 4.10pm and later attended hospital.

Police said: “It is suspected this was caused by something similar to a screwdriver due to the puncture nature of the wound.”

The group are described as white, dressed in dark clothing and wearing baseballs caps. They left the scene heading down Thomas Street.
