Community raises over £10k for woman with incurable breast cancer

Private alternatives have been offered, but they aren’t cheap

Five years of incurable breast cancer has left a Lincolnshire woman with little in the way of options – but her loved ones and the wider community have raised over £10,000 to try and offer light at the end of this dark tunnel.

Michelle Hillard, from East Lindsey in Lincolnshire, was diagnosed with incurable secondary breast cancer in 2018, and despite numerous rounds of chemotherapy she has been unable to shake the wretched disease.
