Rain check for Cornhill Market: Wet weather causes delay

July’s wet weather has pushed back the opening of the refurbished Cornhill Market, it has been confirmed.

City of Lincoln Council staff are waiting to finish the City Square element of the works, which has been hampered by the unseasonal rain. The market’s opening date may not be closer to winter than autumn, although it’s expected to be open for Christmas.
