Businesses reflect on lukewarm weekend without the Lincoln Christmas market

Traders continue to advocate for the return of the beloved event

Lincoln’s businesses experienced a lukewarm and wet weekend, a far cry from the bustling vibrancy typically brought by what would have been the city’s 41st Christmas market.

While events like the craft market at the Assembly Rooms, festive illuminations at the castle, and City of Lincoln Council’s Ice Trail drew crowds, the overall success was notably subdued, businesses said.
