A second chance for adult learners

Never too late: Adult Learner’s Weeks marks another chance for adult learners to better themselves, with dedicated workshops for wannabe musicians or silver surfers.

Sessions and courses aimed at improving skills for adult learners will take place in Lincoln, as part of the Adult Learner’s Week, between May 15th and 22nd. The event will include workshops for surfing the Internet and dance and crafts.

“Adult Learner’s Week provides the perfect opportunity for people to find out more about lifelong learning in Lincolnshire,” said Cllr Patricia Bradwell, Executive Member for Adult Education at the Lincolnshire County Council.

The Collection in Lincoln will host dance demonstrations from India, Africa, Bulgaria and elsewhere on May 25th, starting 10am. The Boultham Library will also host taster sessions for learning to surf the Web on May 18th, starting 2pm.
