Actress to aid Age UK Lincoln

Trillian: Actress Sandra Dickinson will join Age UK Lincoln next week to support the charity’s promotion.

Actress Sandra Dickinson (61), who often played a dumb blonde with a high-pitched voice in the 70s, is coming to Lincoln to support the local Age UK group.

Dickinson, pictured left with her husband Mark Osmond (20 years her junior), is famous for her role in BBC series The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (right).

On Wednesday, September 15, Dickinson will help encourage “fiftysomethings” to make use of service and activities provided by the Age UK Lincoln charity.

The charity will be in the City Square on the day together with Dickinson from 10am, spreading information leaflets.

From 10.30am onwards, Lincoln City Health Initiative’s team will be offering free health checks, blood pressure, grip strength, weight and other checks.

Money-off vouchers for use in Age UK’s restaurant or coffee bar will also be given away, and you can also try samples of Wiltshire Farm Foods’ meals.

The Age UK event has been organised with Lincoln BIG, which manages the hire and use of City Square by a variety of organisations throughout the year.
