Comedian to turn the air blue in Lincoln

Blue humour: Chubby Brown will be doing his stand up act at Lincoln Theatre Royal this month.

Britain’s bluest comedian, Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown will be delivering his stand up at Lincoln Theatre Royal this month.

Born as Royston Vasey in Middlesborough, North Yorkshire, in 1945, Chubby Brown discusses sex, British politics, and everyday life as his act.

He never appears on mainstream television due to the insulting language and the aggressive nature of his stand up.

However, he does warn his audience: “If easily offended, please stay away.”

Brown is easily recognisable too, due to his multicoloured suit and flying helmet, matched by his funny walking style.

He has toured the UK for the last 30 years, and on November 22 will release his 22nd DVD, called Pussy and Meatballs.

You can catch the controversial comedian on October 19. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets start at £19. Strictly over 18s only.
