Arrest over High St shop smashed window

Smash: A man from North Hykeham was arrested in connection with a smashed windows at a High Street shop.

A 21-year-old man from North Hykeham was arrested in connection with a criminal damage incident on the High Street on December 23.

At around 11.45pm on Thursday, December 25, the glass in the door of the Clinton Cards shop on the High Street was smashed.

The 21-year-old man was released on bail after the arrest, to return to the police station at a later date when police enquiries are complete.

PC Maria Horner of Lincolnshire Police is investigating and is looking for witnesses and more information on this case.

She is appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact her via 0300 111 0300 quoting incident number 6 of December 24.

Clinton Cards is yet to replace the smashed window, so the shop used cardboard to patch the door.
