Cash Snatched from Lincoln shop

Cash grab: Police are appealing for information following a theft at a city store.

Money has been stolen from Maple Street Stores on Maple Street, after a man reached over the counter and grabbed cash from the shop’s till.

At around 12.25pm on August 15, a man entered the shop asking for change, when the till was opened he reached over the counter and stole money before running away.

Police are asking for any information about the incident, which involved a man in his early to mid 20s, around 5ft 11in tall and of medium build.

They also added the offender had short light brown hair and was wearing a red and white polo shirt with three quarter length tracksuit bottoms at the time.
