Growth: A web company which set up in Lincoln has already seen customer growth since expanding here.

A US-based web hosting company that opened an office in Lincoln is already seeing “significant” growth since launching in the city.

WebHostingBuzz opened its doors in the UK at the end of last year, and has reported a 50% business growth since opening in Lincoln.

The company also has offices in Boston, Massachusetts and the Ukraine as well as Lincoln, with data farms in New York, Atlanta, Phoenix and Amsterdam.

It currently hosts around 330,000 websites across the world, which are a mix of both business and personal websites.

Due to the growth, WebHostingBuzz is looking to bring more data farms to the East Midlands area.

Managing Director Matt Russell said: “We were always confident that our excellent customer service and technical know-how would put us in a strong position to win new business, and I was sure that Lincoln would prove to be a great location to base our UK operations.

“A recent customer survey carried out by us, from a snapshot of 1,000 of our clients, showed a satisfaction rate of over 93%.

“Having a presence here in the UK, in Lincoln, a city with a growing reputation for entrepreneurial vision and expansion, has played a big part in our success.”
