New tenants in Lincoln shopping centre

Brant Road Shopping Centre has managed to let out two of its premises recently, showing neighbourhood retail centres are still thriving.

National bakery company Greggs moved into Unit 4 of the shopping centre, while local travel agents Brant Travel expanded their company.

Brant Travel let a bigger unit and also secured its long term future on Brant Road.

The units were dealth with by Chartered Surveyors Hodgson Elkington.

Partner Dan Race commented: “The current difficulties faced by larger retailers have been well reported but, against this backdrop, the convenience food sector and neighbourhood retailing in general are thriving.

“We have looked after Brant Road Shopping Centre since it was built in the early 1980s and it is pleasing to see a national company like Greggs committing to this location, whilst a well-established local company, Brant Travel, has made a firm commitment to the Brant Road area by taking a lease of new premises.”
