Olympic Silver Medallist and the BBC’s ‘Voice of Running’ Steve Cram MBE helped inaugurate Running Imp’s headquarters Jubilee House in Lincoln on Tuesday.

The official opening marked the completion of an ambitious building renovation project, which completely changed the face of the existing premises on Whisby Way, and also celebrated the firm’s 25th anniversary.

Steve Cram went on a tour of the new building, including the company showroom which features a huge display of medals that Running Imp has supplied to sporting events all over the world.

Running Imp Co-Founder & Chief Executive Chris Illsley, said: “Since 1988 we have grown to become the UK’s largest supplier of running event supplies, and it fills me with great pride that a man so synonymous with running was here to mark this new chapter in our history.”

Last month the company was presented with the 2013 Lincoln Civic Award, in recognition of its excellent achievements and for continuing to be involved with the City’s community through promotional support of local charity events.
