Two sheds broken into in Lincoln

Double shed break-in: Two sheds have been broken into on Ashlin Grove, Lincoln. Two expensive mountain bikes have been stolen.

Police are appealing for information after two sheds were broken into on Ashlin Grove in Lincoln, at around 8pm on Monday, December 9.

Lincolnshire Police received reports from two residents who had found shed locks broken.

One resident had been disturbed by noise in his rear garden to find the padlock had been broken off his shed door.

The resident noticed that nothing had been stolen and then went inside to call the police. When he returned to the shed a short time later two expensive mountain bikes had been stolen.

One bike was a yellow Boardman mountain bike and the other a grey Boardman make hybrid cycle.

At another address, two doors down from the property, a shed lock had been broken but nothing was stolen.

The investigating officer PC Paul Mayo is appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact him via the non-emergency 101 number, quoting the incident numbers 414 and 457.
