Man who died in fall from Lincoln car park named

Car park death: The man who died following a fall from a multi-storey Lincoln car park has been formally named by police.

The man who died following a fall from a multi-storey car park in Lincoln has been formally named by police.

He was 23-year-old Lincoln resident Patrick McCauley, also known as Paddy.

The incident happened at around 7.26am on February 26 at the Broadgate car park on St Rumbold’s Street.

Since, Lincolnshire Police have formally identified the body and notified the man’s family.

Officers are now putting together a case file which will go to the coroner, who will hold an inquest in due course.

The coroner’s inquest will seek to determine if the man fell or jumped from the multi-storey car park.
