From his wish to help others, The Ethan Maul ‘Up Yours To Cancer’ foundation raised money for the children on ward E39 at Nottingham Children’s Hospital.

Ultimately, the money raised will also go towards specialist ‘houses’ where patients and their families can make a home from home while receiving treatment.

The statement written on the foundation’s Facebook page read:

“This is the hardest thing to write and my heart is breaking as I have to tell you all that Ethan lost his fight with cancer late last night.

“Our hearts go out to Sam, Darren & Ben. They were so very generous in sharing Ethan with everyone – their beautiful, kind, funny, courageous little boy.

“His smile lit up the world and we are all struggling to take in this devastating news. Rest in peace little man. One more angel in heaven, one more star in the sky.”
