Police appeal after disorder on Lincoln train

Train disorder: British Transport Police are appealing for information after a group of passengers on a Lincoln train caused disruption over the weekend.

British Transport Police were called to Lincoln Central train station over the weekend after passengers caused chaos on a Lincoln to Nottingham train.

BTP officers were joined by Lincolnshire Police at around 9pm on Saturday, April 18 after receiving calls notifying them of a disturbance from a group of passengers.

A BTP spokesperson said: “We were called to Lincoln Central station at 9pm on Saturday, 18 April, following reports of a disorderly group of passengers onboard a train.

“Officers from BTP and Lincolnshire Police attended and met a Nottingham to Lincoln Central train.

“A number of passengers were spoken to but no allegations were made. Enquiries are ongoing.”
