Six men arrested after Lincoln Stamp End brawl

Six arrested: Six men aged between 23 and 56 were arrested for fighting in the Stamp End area of Lincoln.

Six men aged between 23 and 56 were arrested on suspicion of affray and grievous bodily harm after a fight broke out in the Napier Street/Cannon Street area of Lincoln.

Police were called to the Stamp End area at around 6.35pm on Friday April 17, after reports of a disturbance involving a group of men.

A local man aged in his 20s received minor injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment. He was released a few hours later.

Six men, including the injured man, were arrested in connection with the incident – one 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH, while another five men, all aged between 29 and 56, were arrested on suspicion of affray.

All six have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
