Armed robbery: Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a robbery at a petrol station in Saxilby.

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a robbery at a petrol station in Saxilby.

A man wearing a balaclava and carrying a knife entered the Otters Bridge Filling Station on Gainsborough Road at just after 7am this morning (August 13), demanding money from the female member of staff.

Nobody was injured in the incident and the offender made off with a quantity of cash.

He is described as wearing a blue or black balaclava, a high-vis jacket, and light blue jeans.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Officers are currently at the scene carrying out enquiries and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a man matching the description or anyone who has any information in relation to the investigation.”
