Whisby Road in Lincoln will be closed for five nights as Lincolnshire County Council carries out a programme of roadworks.

The road will be closed to motorists from the roundabout at Kingsley Road to the junction with Doddington Road between the hours of 8pm and 6am from Monday, September 28 to Friday, October 2.

Matt Fairweather, Engineer for Lincolnshire County Council, said: “Following the improvement scheme last year we found that some areas of the road do not meet our standards therefore our contractor will be carrying out corrective work.

“We have arranged for this to be completed in the evenings to minimise disruption to motorists.”

Local diversion routes will be in place and access will be maintained to businesses.
