Bikes stolen from Lincoln Birchwood garage

Bike theft: Police are appealing for information after two bikes were stolen from a property in the Birchwood area of Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information after two bicycles were stolen from a property in Lincoln.

The occupants of a house on Fulmar Road are said to have heard at disturbance in their garage at just before 11.30pm on Thursday, November 12.

Offenders had forced open the door and two bikes, a Cube HPC in blue, white and black, and a Scott E-Spark in orange and black were both taken.

Joanne Hayward-Graves, owner of the bikes, said: “The black and orange bike has a GPS Controlling Head Unit which was not attached as it was away for repair. Without it the bike is not useable with power assist and is equally as expensive to replace.

“Please look out for these bikes and contact the police if they are either seen being ridden, sold or dumped.”

One man was seen in the area at the time who officers would like to talk to to see if he has any information that may assist the investigation.

He is described as white, aged between 25 and 35, well-built, and wearing dark clothing.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time, or anyone who has any information that may be relevant to the investigation, is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 485 of November 12.
