Family tribute to cyclist who died in A46 Lincoln bypass crash

Cyclist named: The male cyclist who died in a crash on the A46 Lincoln bypass earlier this month has been named as Ben Marshall.

The male cyclist who died in a crash on the A46 Lincoln bypass earlier this month has been named as Ben Marshall.

As previously reported, 37-year-old Ben was riding along the eastbound carriageway at around 2.15am when he was involved in a crash with a Ford Focus.

Ben, from the Louth area, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead.

Ben’s family have released the following statement:

“It is with great sadness that that we announce the death of Ben following a road traffic collision on November 1.

“He will be greatly missed by all the family. The family would ask that they be given privacy in their grief.”
