Lincoln couple appeal for help tracing lost Harris Hawk Orbit

Have you seen Orbit? A Lincoln woman is desperately searching for her pet hawk after it was spooked from her garden on Hartsholme Drive.

A Lincoln couple are desperately searching for their nine-month-old pet hawk after it was spooked from their garden on Hartsholme Drive.

The female Harris Hawk named Orbit had been with owner Dean Clements when she was chased off by crows at around 8am on Tuesday, January 19.

His wife Johanna said: “Her main flying area is in the fields to the rear of us. She has bells on so you can hear her.

“Please help us find her.

“She’s nine-months-old, tame to my husband, and pretty much any one who wears a glove with a chick on it.

“She flies free daily around the fields to the back of us. She wears bell’s and has small brown leather straps on her feet.”
