See the designs for the £2m luxury townhouse development in central Lincoln

Lincoln-based Jackson & Jackson Developments has revealed the design scheme and plans behind its latest £2 million residential development on Motherby Hill.

Bailgate Mount is a development of nine, three-bedroom luxury townhouses along the elevated street which leads up to the historic Bailgate area of the city.

The development, which is due for completion in February 2018, is being delivered by Jackson Living, a new residential brand under the Jackson & Jackson Developments umbrella.

The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area will feature wooden walls and muted colour tones, as well as vaulted ceilings to create a feeling of space and airiness to in keep with the contemporary edge of the homes.

The new homes will range from £214,950 to £279,950 and will feature high spec fixtures and fittings and rear patio gardens.

“The design steps up the steeply sloping hillside and reflects the character of the original Victorian terrace that occupied the site until the 1960s. The exterior design is a contemporary interpretation of the original terrace with design features that ensure no overlooking or overbearing issues with adjacent properties.

“We worked with LK2 Architects on the architectural designs and we’re very pleased with the outcome which will be recognised for individuality and prestige.”
