A victim was pushed, punched and subjected to verbal abuse in the middle of a Lincoln shop.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to as part of their injuries into the attack, which they said is being treated as a hate crime.

The incident happened on October 18 in the One Stop shop on Skellingthorpe Road in Lincoln.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “Having followed several lines of enquiries, this offence remains outstanding, and so we have released a picture of a man we wish to speak to.

“The male is described as 6ft or taller, and was described as wearing a grey tracksuit. He was described as being approximately 25/26-years-old.

“If you believe you know this man, or anything about the incident in question, please contact 101 and state that this is for the attention of PC Richard Morley, under Incident number 206 of October 18.”
