Featherstonehaughs solo tour hits Lincoln

Dance revolution: Choreography group the Featherstonehaughs will be gracing the LPAC with their new dance package.

After a twelve-year solo hiatus, The Featherstonehaughs will be coming to Lincoln’s LPAC as part of a new tour.

The artistic movement, which usually tour as The Cholmondeleys & The Featherstonehaughs, will be coming to Lincoln on October 9.

They will tour with their brand new work, Edits, as well as their popular work, The Featherstonehaughs Draw on the Sketch Books of Egon Schiele.

The Featherstonehaughs are an all-male choreography group, which was formed by Lea Anderson in 1988. They have taken her choreography all over the world.

The six-male group’s new work Edits translates the conventions and dramatic rhythm of film, photography, and painting into dance.

Lea Anderson MBE was an Artist in Residence at the University of California and Circus Space, a companion of LIPA and has an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from Dartington College of Arts.

At Chichester University there is also a Lea Anderson award for choreographic excellence available to students.

Tickets for the show start at £8, and the show begins at 8pm. You can book tickets from the LPAC Box Office.
