Police find vulnerable young woman

Missing: Stephanie Carter went missing in the early hours of Sunday after she left the hospital before receiving treatment.

— Update on September 30 at 4.41pm:

Stephanie Carter has now been found safe and well in Lincoln on Thursday.

Police are appealing for sightings of Stephanie Carter, missing since September 25, when at about 3.20am she left Lincoln County Hospital before receiving treatment.

Stephanie is 25-years-old, described as white, about 5ft 5″ tall, slim build, with shoulder length fair hair, often tied in a ponytail.

She has only been in Lincoln for a few weeks, and was living in Picton Street, the new housing development off Ruston Way.

Prior to this, she lived in the St. Ann’s area of Nottingham and it is believed that she still has connections in this area.

When she was last seen she was wearing a grey top, a black leather jacket, black leggings and black boots.

Police are concerned that Stephanie has not been seen or made contact with family or friends since she left Lincoln County Hospital.

It is believed that she could be in a vulnerable state of mind and that she could come to harm, or harm herself.

Her family is anxious to know that she is safe and well and the police are keen to ensure that she comes to no harm and receives any treatment she may require.

Anyone who has seen Stephanie since Sunday, either in Lincoln or in Nottingham, or knows of her whereabouts, is urged to contact Lincolnshire Police on 0300 111 0300.
