Problem areas on the A15 near Dunston Pillar and three roads in Washingborough will be resurfaced as part of summer roads repairs.
The work on the A15 will start on Monday, August 20, for five nights.
This will take place overnight, between 7pm and 7am, during which time the road needs to be closed. Diversions will be in place via B1178, B1188 and B1202.
The improvements in Washingborough’s Lincoln Road, Main Road and Fen Road will take place on August 18 and 19, subject to weather conditions, and will re-open again overnight.
These will be carried out between the junction of Ferry Lane and the B1190, and Park Lane roundabout.
Church Lane and Park Lane roundabouts will have to be closed, with local access provided at all times.
The signed diversion route will include Canwick Hill, Heighington Road, Canwick Road, Washingborough Road, High Street, Fen Road and vice versa.
Bus services are aware of the works with information about the locations of temporary routes and bus stops on display at the existing bus stops on the Lincoln/Main Road.
Traffic volumes are typically lighter during the summer, but Lincolnshire County Council is advising motorists to allow extra time for their journey.

Schools and universities in Lincolnshire recognise the potential benefits, but also the concerns, over the use of artificial intelligence.
The results of the government’s first ever Call for Evidence on Artificial Intelligence in Education’ report were published on Tuesday, November 28. It was open for 10 weeks and closed on August 23 this year, with 567 responses received during that time. Most respondents were “broadly optimistic” about the use of GenAI in education.
Almost two months on from Network Rail stating it had implemented “new cleaning regimes” for its railway bridge on Brayford Wharf East, the same concerns of graffiti, dirt and moss growth are continuing — and we are no clearer on how regularly the bridge is cleaned.
The bridge, which opened in 2019 in a bid to improve public safety on the railway crossing, is regularly used by many commuters and residents in Lincoln, but it has been the topic of a cleanliness discussion for many months now.
