A veterinary practice in North Hykeham has launched a new area in its animal care business: dog grooming, creating four new jobs in the process.
Park View Vet Hospital on Lincoln Road launched the new business, “Paws to Groom”, which caters mainly to dogs.
Services range from bathing to a full groom and styling, and all breeds are welcome.
The service is run by Park View partner David Ashcroft, and will create four new jobs locally.
Park View managed to launch the new section of the business with Barclay Bank’s “Funding for Lending” scheme, which helped the company purchase the equipment needed.
David Ashcroft said: “Launching the dog grooming business seemed a natural progression for the practice and we’re looking forward to seeing all our customers and four legged friends more frequently as we help with their grooming needs.
“It’s great that we’ve been able to fund the expansion with the new Government backed Funding for Lending scheme which has also provided us with a cash lump sum.”
