Road rage: Lincolnshire Police are looking for witnesses after a road rage incident which escalated into an alleged assault in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police are looking for witnesses after a road rage incident which escalated into an alleged assault in Lincoln.

The incident happened on June 21 at around 6.15pm just past Lindum Hill where two vehicles stopped at the Minster Yard/Eastgate traffic lights.

The two vehicles involved are a white Camper van and a red BMW, and it is then alleged that one driver assaulted the other.

One of the drivers has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

Police believe there were a number of witnesses to the event, and would like to speak to these people.
