Lincoln lottery prize worth £600k remains unclaimed

This story is over

A Lotto prize of £585,956 from the second ever Lotto Quadruple Rollover draw has yet to be claimed from a ticket bought in Lincoln.

The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket, bought in Lincoln, who matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto Quadruple Rollover draw on Saturday, January 4, 2014.

Winning Lotto numbers

The winning numbers on January 4 were 4, 11, 18, 28, 41, 44 and the bonus ball was 8. The lucky ticket-holder has until July 3, 2014, to claim their prize.

Lotto can only roll four times, so when no ticket-holder matched all six numbers in this draw, the jackpot prize was shared between the winners in the next winning prize level – five numbers plus the bonus ball.

Twenty three ticket-holders each scooped £585,956 and so far all but one of these prizes has been claimed.

If no-one comes forward with the remaining winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the National Lottery Good Causes.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life and would be an amazing way to start 2014.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a Lotto ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

What to do if your numbers match

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
