This week, Lincoln photographers have been sharing their beautiful snaps with The Lincolnite for a look back at the week in pictures.
Here are some of the photos from local residents this week:
Braving the shave
Jay Wraith from Lincoln underwent a dramatic transformation in aid off Macmillan this week when he ‘braved the shave’. Well done Jay!

Fields of gold
Local photographer Marc Freeman caught some beautiful shots of fiends surrounding Lincoln just as the sun was painting his surroundings amber.
Between 150 and 200 colourful vehicles descended on Brayford Wharf on Sunday, August 7 for the annual VW camper day. Check out some of the highlights from The Lincolnite’s gallery.
The reds are back in town
Andy Cottington was pleased to capture the RAF Red Arrows practising abover their Scampton home. They looked even more dramatic against a moody sky.
An iconic view
Lincoln photographer Jason Corrigan caught the famous Lincoln skyline in all its glory from the top of South Common.
Talent scouts come to town
Lincoln performers showed the Britain’s Got Talent scouts what the city is made of when they auditioned at Waterside Shopping Centre.
What our video for highlights from the auditions:
It’s been a rather breezy weekend, but the Brayford waterfront in Lincoln was spotted in an eerie stillness by reader Gemma Goymer.
Extreme Pokémon hunting
Pokémon Go fans thought they were seeing things when a giant Pikachu began wandering on the High Street this week. It turned out that the cute character was encouraging people to Pika-choose a Lincoln Collage course.
