A Lincoln woman has been jailed for 12 weeks for a host of public order offences.

A criminal behaviour order was given to Shirley Smith, of The Pathways Centre in Lincoln, on September 1 after being arrested several times for being drunk and disorderly and other public order offences.

The order was issued to prevent the offender from drinking in the street but was breached on three occasions between September 6 and September 21.

Inspector Suzanne Davies, Community Policing Inspector for Lincoln South West, said: “We work closely with our partners within the city to support people and help them to address their behaviour.

“However, if this is not successful, we will take positive action to address anti-social behaviour to prevent crime and disorder in the city.

“When Shirley is released we will continue to work alongside agencies to ensure she has the necessary support to try and prevent future offences.”
