The incident happened at around 5.15pm on October 14 when the teenager was hit by a car at Nuns Corner on Laceby Road.

He sustained minor injuries in the collision.

The driver of the vehicle which hit him failed to stop at the scene.

The vehicle is described as a dark blue car, possibly a C Max or a Nissan.

Witnesses and the driver involved in the crash should contact police using the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident number 412 of October 14.
