Oh my puggness! Over 40 pugs to attend Christmas doggy do near Lincoln
A Christmas party just for pugs will be held at the weekend near Lincoln. The party will take place on Sunday, December 11 from 12pm-3pm at the Dog Adventure Centre at Whisby. To attend, you must be a member of the Lincolnshire Pug Group, which is free to join and tickets cost £2 per pug.…
Charon Stockton, one of the admins for the group and who is helping to organise the party said: “It will be an outdoor party at the Dog Adventure Centre in Whisby.
“There will be tunnels, an enclosed paddock, a raffle, fancy dress – of course and Christmas trees will be up.

“So far we have just over 40 pugs going.
“If anyone has a pug and wants to go, all they have to do is join the group, which is free to join, and they can come along.
“I have been on the admin since May this year and have attended the Christmas pug party for the last three years.
“It has grown so much in the last year.”

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas — but not as much in Lincoln — tainted by the absence of the country’s oldest festive market, which was cancelled over safety concerns. Yes, this means that the 2023 Lincolnshire Christmas Market will not take place from Thursday.
With tens of thousands of people googling Christmas markets, it is unsurprising to see a flurry of stories in the nationals about City of Lincoln Council’s decision to cancel the 40-year-old event, which attracted more than 350,000 people in four days last year, and reportedly generated around £15 million for the local economy.
