The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has confirmed that Post Office workers will strike in the week leading up to Christmas due to an ongoing dispute over jobs, pensions and branch closures.

Despite promises from Post Office that it will resume talks with unions this week, the CWU has now called for industrial action, starting Monday, December 19.

Around 300 branches are said to be affected by the strike across the country. Lincolnshire Reporter is awaiting confirmation on which branches in Lincolnshire will be affected.
