But what are Bitcoins? Essentially, as Sean describes on his website, it is electronic money and relies on the internet to communicate the transactions.

It is not linked to the banks or government like electronic money on credit cards is currently, and therefore the value of it is determined by what value the market and the people who find it useful, place on it.

Currently, 18 Bitcoins equates to £80,000.

The house itself boast a number of quirky rooms, decorated in bright colours and sky-like ceilings.

Built in early 1900s, the house also consisted of three large reception rooms, a relatively new kitchen and a downstairs toilet.

Upstairs there are two good-sized bedrooms and a third box room bedroom that has also been used as a study/office.

The bathroom has recently been refurbished and with a new bathroom suite and decoration.

Sean said on the website: “158 Welholme Road has been my home for over 25 years and I’m sad to leave it behind.

“Its a surprisingly large, light and sun filled property.

“Built in early 1900s it still retains some of the original features as well as a couple of new additions that make it a unique purchase.”
