Knock knock who’s there? Man and woman arrested after police carry out Grimsby drugs raid

The drugs are now being tested.

Humberside Police have arrested a man and woman following a drugs raid at a house in Grimsby.

A 33-year-old woman and 37-year-old man are in custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after police executed the warrant at an address on Castle Street on October 10.

Officers have said that a large quantity of what is believed to be heroin was found in the house.

Testing of the drugs is currently being conducted.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “We executed the warrant following information provided by local residents.

“We always act on information given to us and encourage anyone who has suspicions that drugs are being dealt in their street to call us on our non-emergency number 101.
