Thief goes on Skegness shopping spree with pensioner’s bank card

The thief enjoyed a seaside shopping spree.

Police are appealing for information after a man stole a pensioner’s bank card before enjoying a shopping spree in Skegness.

On January 26, a suspect reportedly broke into the car of a man in his 70s outside the doctor’s surgery on Simpson Street in Spilsby and took a bank card.

Officers are appealing for help after the card was used several times, including at the Morrisons store on Wainfleet Road in Skegness.

Investigating officers released two CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.

Police are asking for anyone with information about the incident or who recognises the man pictured to call them on 101 quoting incident 259 of January 26.
