A15 two-car crash victim named as coroner’s inquest opens

An inquest into his death opened today.

A 31-year-old man from Metheringham who died in a two-vehicle crash off the A15 near Boothby Graffoe has been named.

Gavin Paul Doughty was driving a black Vauxhall Astra which collided with a silver Astra at around 7.20pm on Friday, March 16.

The incident took place on the B1202 Heath Lane between the village and the A15.

The driver of the silver Astra was not seriously injured.

The name was released by Lincolnshire’s coroner service and an inquest into his death is set to open at Lincoln Coroners Court on Wednesday, March 28.
