Lincolnshire Co-op travel branch in Lincoln moving to new purpose-built unit

It will replace the branch’s old site in the Moorland Centre Retail Park.

The Lincolnshire Co-op travel branch off Tritton Road will move to a new purpose-built unit next to the M&S Foodhall from Friday, March 9.

The new £300,000 unit matches the M&S store exterior and will replace the branch’s old site in the Moorland Centre Retail Park.

Inside there will be eight travel desks, a cruise lounge and a currency exchange bureau.

Lincolnshire Co-op Travel Group Manager Wayne Dennett said: “Our Tritton Road Travel team offer a valued service to many people around Lincoln and further afield, so we’re pleased they’re moving into a modern and spacious new home.

“We believe the branch’s design is different to anything else in Lincolnshire at the moment,” he said.

Lincolnshire Co-op has 14 travel branches across the county.

The new unit is to the left of the M&S Foodhall.
