Three women who died in Baston snow crash named

They lost there lives in the crash during heavy snow.

The three women who died after a crash involving a car and a lorry on the A15 at Baston during heavy snowfall have been named.

As previously reported three women died after a crash between a blue Renault Clio and a white Scania lorry near to the Waterside Garden Centre just after 6am on Tuesday, February 27.

An inquest into the deaths of Ewelina Gacka, Joanna Masternak and Margorzata Kulik will be opened on March 14.

Lead Investigator, Sergeant Helen Allcroft, said previously: “Sadly three people have lost their lives and several people have faced the shock of witnessesing or coming across the scene.”

He also appealed for drivers with dash cams in the area to get in touch.
