Elderly lady, 95, injured in Sleaford

Police are appealing for help to establish how a 95-year-old woman suffered head injuries in Sleaford.

Local officers received a report that a lady was injured as she walked along the path near to the junction with Bonner Close and Mareham Lane in Sleaford.

The incident happened at around 4.30pm on Friday, April 27.

It was reported that she fell to the ground, but police said it is not yet clear how she fell and sustained her injuries.

She was taken to hospital for treatment of a head injury.

Lincolnshire Police have opened an investigation to establish what happened and a number of witnesses have already been spoken to.

Police now want to hear from anyone who may have seen anything that would help with the enquiry.
