Array of Lincoln Bank Holiday markets

Antiques, arts and crafts and more

Shoppers and visitors in Lincoln can enjoy a variety of markets during the Bank Holiday weekend.

A variety of goods will be sold by pop-up stallholders at the Lincoln Spring Market from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Monday (May 26 and 28) and until 4pm on Sunday (May 27).

The Spring Market will feature traders who regularly take part in the city’s diverse markets and other independent traders, as well as entertainment.

It starts in the city centre on Saturday with antiques, arts and crafts and food stalls in the High Street near Boots.

The Show Comes to Town will be based at the Cornhill on the same day with a flavour of what to expect from next month’s Lincolnshire Show.

On Saturday, there will also be the chance to visit the Brocante market at St Mark’s Shopping Centre, where people can find more unusual products.

There will be more stall holders back in the High Street on Sunday and Monday.

Children can also enjoy rides on a colourful roundabout, which will be in The Cornhill over all three days.

Each day busker Martin Pease will also be out and about entertaining people in the market areas.

Events and Promotions Manager at Lincoln BIG Michael Armstrong said: “We hope it’s going to be another great weekend.

“We recently rebranded our street markets – bringing them together under a new umbrella. This weekend people will find a real mix of stalls, selling everything from arts and crafts to antiques.

“With the growing popularity of street food, we have also arranged for visiting traders to come along and tempt people with a taste of their own specialities.
