Eight released after Lincoln teen attack

Investigation continues.

The eight people arrested after a teenager was attacked in Lincoln have all been released under investigation.

As previously reported, police were called at 1am on Saturday, May 12 to Mons Road in Ermine West where they found a 16-year-old injured in the street.

The teenager was taken to hospital for treatment. It’s believed he sustained the injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening, at a home on Burton Road.

Some reports have surfaced on social media that the victim had been stabbed, however this has not been confirmed by police at the time of writing.

A scene guard was in place on Burton Road until later on Saturday afternoon.

Eight people aged between 16 and 45 were arrested in connection with the incident.

They were questioned and have now been released under investigation.
